The New DMW Challenge

Yesterday afternoon, I received a hilarious voicemail, left by my sister and b-i-l. Said voicemail not only cracked me up but informed me that apparently 32 oz. of water during the day is not enough. Said voicemail also informed me that the daily recommendation of H2O is 64oz – twice that of my DMW challenge!

Are you for real?!

What I want to know is who here seriously drinks 64+ oz. of water everyday?? Am I just some crazy weird person that never drinks water? Or are they the fish that drink ridiculous amount of liquids everyday?

A’ight, Liv and Greg. You’re on. I smell a new new challenge: 64oz. of water. Everyday. Uhhh, this is not going to be easy.

Bring it on.

    Erin, the general rule is 8, 8 oz glasses per day. It does, however, depend on lifestyle, fitness and weight. Your body is 40- 50 % water and you should maintain that level for good health. A simple calc is: divide your weight by 2 and drink that many oz/day. So, if you are 120lbs, you should drink 60 oz/day. And hey, I thought I taught you guys that!!! Dad

    OK, here’s what you do, get a 32oz thing of water and just chug that bad boy. Twice. I speak from experience as I have a 32oz Nalgene next to me right now. But honestly, I can only stand water if it’s really, really cold, so, it takes me forever to finish the dang thing because the water gets warm. ICK!!
