What a refreshing weekend we had. After traveling practically every weekend since August, it was so nice to just chill at home/take care of things/spoil the puppy with new places and people to meet/cook/watch football/run/hang out with friends.

We took a trip to IKEA (hello overwhelming) to pick up new items for our place (it’s finally filling out and looking like a warm home :)) and Luke and Courtney met up with us for a quick visit! It was so nice seeing them, it had been too long!

On Saturday, I didn’t bring my camera (how un-Erin of me), but we took a trip to this huge dog park. The whole park is fenced in with access to a lake, and Cabo got to run around, sniff other dogs, slobber on humans, and eat as much dirt as she pleased. And she even played in water for the first time. Presh. Presh.

Sunday, we went for a gorgeous, fall, 10 mile run on trails we’d never been on before. I love running on new trails. I’m not sure why we don’t find new ones more often. Despite my stiff legs, it was perfection.
We spent the afternoon getting lost in a dog-friendly corn maze with friends :) I love corn mazes. Apparently, Cabo loves them too. She was like a vacuum licking up every single kernel of corn in front of her. Which was roughly 9 thousand.
The weekend wrapped up with an absolutely fabulous dinner party, hosted by Dan and his fam. The winter squash-themed dinner was spectacular and we went home with happy, full bellies.

A perfectly lovely fall-tastic weekend :) How was your weekend?
