Three Things Thursday

1.) By now, surely you’ve heard us Coloradans chatting about the snow we got overnight.

Whenever it snows, Cabo makes me feel like it’s Christmas morning, because of how excited she gets. Standing at the door, anxiously pawing up and down, pacing back and forth waiting for me to get my boots on. Then at last, diving snout first into the fresh mounds of snow, butt in the air. Coming up to sneeze and shake off.

Man, I love watching her play in the snow.

2.) I want to let you guys in on a little secret. It’s so un-Efo of me.

My mom and dad are gonna laugh. My brother is gonna think “it’s about time you’ve done something outside your comfort zone” (my brother is the king of spontaneous, random acts of hilarity). Something I never in a million years would have imagined myself doing, much less choreographing and organizing. On Halloween morning, I’m participating in a flash mob.

3.) My friends are hosting a Halloween party this weekend, and my costume hasn’t come in yet.

I ordered a “part” for it, 3 weeks ago and it’s still not here… might have to make a game day change if I don’t get it by Saturday. I busted out the glue gun for the hairpiece. Can you guess what I’m going as?

You dressing up this year?
What should I go as (easy-to-throw-together), in case my costume falls through at the last minute?

I cannot believe you guys got snow this early! Every time I hear this about Colorado, it makes me rethink whether or not I could live there, I have to admit. I’m glad I won’t likely see it until January here.

Interested to see what your costume is! I have no clue…

My bro-in-law and family are out there now to visit their daughter who just moved to CO. They’re all excited about the snow. We in New England, however, are suddenly planning for hurricane SAndy…whhhhaatttt? Wasn’t expected that right about now.

Me thinks the trails for my upcoming 50 miler will be a tad moist …. at the least. Might buy me some floaties just in case!!

    LOVE that Cabo :)

Yes-I love watching Mikaya in the snow too! We went to the park twice today so that she could tromp around in it. How much did you get in Boulder? I am anxious to see what your costume is. I’m terrible at guessing.
